The Healthy Eating Made Easier: Plan Your Plate training is a 30- to 45-minute session that discusses the importance of learning about and promoting nutrition in the cafeteria. Designed for front line cafeteria staff, the training presents easy-to-remember strategies that can assist staff in encouraging healthy eating patterns. It discusses ways the cafeteria impacts the health and wellness of students and communities and covers specific actions that will make a difference for students on their journey to wellness.

The Taking Care of Yourself: For Foodservice Professionals during Stressful Times training is a four-part series that discusses the importance of self-care to increase well-being and productivity. Designed for front line cafeteria staff, the training series describes common sources of stress and provides research-proven methods for improving well-being. Participants will identify ways to take care of themselves and will prepare an action plan. Each of the 15-minute modules include a worksheet, quiz, and certificate for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for a total of 60 minutes CEUs.
The training is online, pre-recorded and self-paced and provided to school districts at no-cost. It can also be offered as a live zoom or face to face training and tailored to school district needs.

This training is a four-part series that highlights the importance of providing nutrition education and messaging during school meal service. Designed for front line cafeteria staff, the training series describes the benefits of nutrition education for students, the critical role of school nutrition in developing lifelong nutrition habits, and describes methods and resources that foodservice professionals can easily use to provide nutrition education to students. Each of the modules includes a worksheet, reference handouts, a quiz, and certificate for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for a total of 2.5 hours or 150 minutes CEUs.
